FAQ for CMMS software

There's no cap on assets. Every plan, including Standard, includes unlimited assets, unlimited custom fields, and unlimited work orders and PMs. For sites, our Standard and Premium+ plans are built for a single location; supporting multiple locations and regions is an Enterprise-tier capability, and we don't publish a maximum number of locations an Enterprise account can have. When it comes to users, Limble is priced per user instead of offering unlimited seats, so account size scales based on how many people you add rather than a fixed ceiling.

Our Enterprise plan serves Unilever, Sulzer, DHL, McDonald's, General Mills, Aspen Surgical, and Barnard. Available customer case studies include MidWest Materials, Powder Mountain, J.J. Taylor, Red Hawk Casino, City of Lompoc Water Treatment Plant, and Western Pulp.

Yes to all three. Our Enterprise plan includes OIDC-based Single Sign-On, and we support SAML-based SSO specifically through integrations like Okta and Microsoft ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services). For permissions, Limble uses roles (groupings of permissions assigned to users by location) with Technician, Manager, and View Only as default roles, and Enterprise customers can create fully custom roles. To support audits, maintenance and asset performance history data are automatically stored with details like assigned personnel and timestamps, so your team has a real-time record of who did what and when.

We integrate with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and QuickBooks Online.

Yes. Build master PM templates and deploy them across similar assets at multiple locations, so you get consistency without recreating the same PMs at every location.

Asset templates work the same way. Super Users create a standard set of fields and apply that template across locations. Individual assets can still carry their own location-based fields alongside the templated ones, so locations aren’t locked into a rigid structure.

Failure codes follow a similar pattern. Create custom failure codes, attach them to assets, and require technicians to select the right code when they close out the work order.

Limble is both! We're built as CMMS software with EAM capabilities. By our definition, a CMMS focuses on the maintenance phase of an asset's life: scheduling work, tracking repairs, and managing preventive tasks, while EAM covers the full asset lifecycle, from acquisition to decommissioning, including procurement, depreciation tracking, and end-of-life planning. Modern CMMS software like Limble is also capable of similar asset management and integration with financial systems, giving you a holistic view of your operations even though our roots are in maintenance management.
