When I started Limble over ten years ago, I had a core realization that the humans who keep the world’s assets running were dramatically underserved. They lacked technology that would save them time, make them more effective, and keep them safe. Maintenance techs and managers were forced to be incredibly reactive, constantly dealing with broken machinery. They lacked software specifically designed for them that made scheduling preventive maintenance and tracking their work simple. Their choice was to use spreadsheets and paper, software designed for finance teams, or CMMS solutions that were incredibly difficult to use.
I built Limble to empower these heroes of manufacturing and facilities management with a maintenance technician-first platform. Ten years later, Limble and our customers have come a long way. Over 3,500 organizations around the world now use Limble to drive their maintenance and asset management efforts. Together, we have repaired and maintained hundreds of thousands of pieces of equipment and manage billions of dollars worth of assets every year. Today, we are seeing the intersection of human-centric CMMS, strategic asset management capabilities, and the application of highly practical AI in our industry. The opportunities for impact are only growing.
That opportunity has led me to make the decision to move to a new role within Limble, and I’m thrilled to share that Gary Spector has joined us as Limble’s new CEO. Gary brings the experience and knowledge of scaling companies like Limble through the next era of growth that is in front of us. He also brings a deep appreciation of the experience of our maintenance and operations users from his time at Simpro, the operational platform for the trades. A major reason Gary was the right person for this role is his focus on delivering real value to every human user of our platform, which remains a core driver for the whole company and me.
I will continue to be at the heart of Limble, focused on the innovation in technology and experience that AI and automation can deliver.
